After over 20 years as a professional singer, Mia Whitfield experienced both the highs of the stage and the quiet moments of self-doubt. Through it all, singing was the one place that brought her back to herself.
When she began teaching, she realized something deeper, people weren’t just learning to sing, they were finding their voice on stage and in life. What started as a passion quickly became something so much more. Today, Singit empowers coaches, artists, and everyday people to build confidence, express themselves, and create meaningful impact - one voice at a time.

There are no right or wrong answers. It's simply a way for us to get to know you a little before we meet, so our conversation can be as useful and tailored to you as possible.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need a music degree?
No. What you need is to be able to sing and have a love of singing, a desire to help people, and the commitment to learn the Singit Method. We will teach you everything else.
Can I do this if I live outside Calgary?
Absolutely. All of our training and mentorship is delivered online. Our coaches are based across Canada and internationally.
Do I need to quit my job to do this?
No. Most of our coaches start part-time, a few group classes a week and grow from there. You set your own schedule.
What if I've never taught before?
That's what the Apprentice pathway is for. You'll learn the method, build your confidence, and start teaching with our full support before making a bigger investment.
How does the 50/50 split work?
On the Satellite path, Singit handles all invoicing and client management. You teach, we handle the admin, and you receive 50% of every dollar earned. When you're ready to move to your own studio, the model changes to a licensing fee.
I want to travel - can I still do this?
Yes. Many of our coaches plan their teaching around their lives. We recommend selling packages in advance for the weeks you're available - so you earn before you go.
